In the second quarter of 2025, the South African market saw significant activity in the shopping games category. Here's a look at the top five games and their performance trends, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Goods Puzzle: Sort Challenge™ from FALCON GAMES showed a robust increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.8K by the end of June. Weekly downloads also grew, reaching around 10.3K, while weekly active users surged from 31.1K to 45.1K over the quarter.

My Supermarket Simulator 3D® by Game District LLC experienced a steady climb in weekly downloads, ending the quarter with about 9.6K. The game’s weekly revenue saw fluctuations, with a peak of $418 in late June, while active users increased from 19.3K to 35.4K.

Shelf Sort Puzzle Game from IEC Games Australia had modest activity. Weekly revenue dipped to $31 by the quarter's end, with active users slightly declining from 1K to 611.

Sort Match™:3D Goods Puzzle by Jewel Loft maintained a stable presence with a peak of 6.5K in weekly active users. Although downloads were sporadic, the game’s revenue reached a high of $134 in mid-May.

Finally, Sort Mania from NOODLE GAMES LIMITED witnessed a steady increase in both downloads and active users, with the latter rising to 6.6K by the end of June. Revenue reached a peak of $87 mid-June.
